12 Days of AI Training at Kalpataru Institute of Technology, Tiptur

From 1 to 12 September 2026, I delivered a 12-day AI training program at Kalpataru Institute of Technology (KIT), Tiptur, Karnataka. The program prepared B.Tech CSE, ISE and AI & ML students for the AI-901 and AI-103 certifications, with a strong focus on building practical AI skills before their placement season.
Day 1: a new campus, a room full of strangers
When I walked into KIT Tiptur on day one, everything was new: a new place, a new campus and a room full of 4th-year students I had never met.
Day 1 was full of engaging discussions, thoughtful questions and a lot of curiosity. Honestly, it took no more than a couple of days to feel completely at home.
Learning by doing
The program went well beyond theory. We explored key AI concepts, real-world applications and practical use cases, so the students would be industry-ready and future-ready, not just exam-ready.
Training ran for seven hours every day — high-energy and demanding, for the students and for me.
Day 4: assessment day
On day 4 we ran a lab session and an assessment on AI-103. I was genuinely impressed by the students' energy, participation and eagerness to learn. My favourite moment in any training is when students start saying, "Now I understand how AI actually works!" — and we had plenty of those.
The closing ceremony
The 12 days ended with a closing ceremony, where the principal, the placement officer Dr Kiran T S and the KIT Tiptur professors shared their words of gratitude. Wrapping up the sessions with the students' warm thank-yous meant the world to me.
Thank you, KIT Tiptur
A big thank you to the principal, the coordinator and especially Dr Kiran T S, Placement Officer, who made everything easy from day one and supported me at every step.
And to my students: your energy during these 12 days was unreal. Thank you for making these 12 days feel like family.
This program was the first half of my 30-day challenge in September 2026, which continued straight into a second 12-day program at Viswam Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh.
