From Hesitation to Confidence: 12 Days of AI Training at Viswam Engineering College

On 20 September 2026, I began a 12-day AI training program at Viswam Engineering College (Viswam Group of Institutions) in Andhra Pradesh, for students from the CSE, ECE and EE departments.
12 days. 3 departments. One goal: learn, apply and grow.
The goal
The aim was simple: go beyond theory, help students understand how AI is applied in the real world, and prepare them for their upcoming career opportunities. The program covered the AI-901 and AI-103 curriculum.
Day 1 was about getting started, understanding the students and setting the foundation for the days ahead. The energy and curiosity in the classroom made the first day truly special.
A slow start
When I first stepped into the classroom, the journey felt new and uncertain. Student engagement with AI as a subject was very low at the beginning, and many students hesitated to speak up.
The turnaround
By the end of the first week, everything had changed. The students had become wonderfully friendly and deeply engaged in every topic, brainstorming and discussing ideas together.
Watching them move from hesitating to speak to having the confidence to say whatever they felt about a topic was nothing short of a remarkable achievement. For me, that transformation from hesitation to confidence was the most rewarding part of the whole program.
The closing ceremony
The program ended with a beautiful closing ceremony at the start of October, marking the end of a deeply rewarding journey.
Thank you, Viswam
My deepest gratitude to the Chairman, the Principal, the HOD, the professors and all the coordinators for their support throughout these AI training sessions, and for creating such a forward-thinking environment for their students.
Two colleges, 30 days
This program completed my 30-day challenge, which started on 1 September 2026: two 12-day intensive programs in two states, back to back — first at Kalpataru Institute of Technology, Tiptur in Karnataka, then at Viswam Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh.
Across the two colleges, almost 200 students went from strangers to building real AI agents. I didn't just deliver training — I learned from bright minds and built a genuine network of people who felt like family by the time I left.
